"Chisu" originates from classical Chinese poetry—specifically the Han dynasty Yuefu folk songs—where it poetically refers to a letter or message written on a small piece of silk. In ancient times, people communicated through such "chisu" missives; today, we connect effortlessly via the internet.

The company’s logo integrates the Chinese character “Chi” (尺, meaning "ruler" or "measure") with the imagery of an envelope. It also symbolizes the carp from the traditional idiom “a carp delivering a chisu” (鱼传尺素), an allusion to faithful message-bearing. This fusion elegantly embodies the brand’s identity.
